Support future projects

To raise awareness and increase implementation of the UK’s policies regarding women seeking asylum, the Feminist Review Trust supported Asylum Aid.  Without the work of Asylum Aid, unsupported women face the prospect of stressful appeals, vulnerability to sexual exploitation and destitution in isolation.

Help the Feminist Review Trust to support more projects such as Asylum Aid.

The FRT wants to ensure that women’s projects around the world and in the UK are sustained and can thrive due to, in part, our grant making. But we simply can’t support 9 out 10 of the applications we receive, despite their evident merit.  Of the £5 million which applicants have requested we have been able to give £137,118.  Thus hundreds of excellent and inspiring women’s groups go unsupported by us every year.

We are now seeking further ways to increase our income to better meet the growing demand for grants. This is particularly important in the climate of funding cuts that affect many groups fighting gender inequality.

£50 – would help us support more groups
£150 – would fund a piece of equipment for a feminist organisation
£250 – would fund production of campaign material to support women’s rights
£500 – would fund a trainer to set up an economic empowerment project for women
£1000 – would fund a sexual health education campaign for young women

Whatever the size of your gift, you would be helping to make a major difference in the lives of women.
